The Book of Songs 诗经 app for iPhone and iPad

The Book of Songs, also known as the Classic of Poetry, is the earliest existing collection of Chinese poems, written as far back as 1000 BCE. It forms part of the Five Classics that, according to tradition, was edited by Confucius.

This application presents selected poems in both Chinese and English language. But there are four different language options: read either the original text, translated versions in traditional Chinese, simplified Chinese, or English. If there is a poem that you like, add it to your own Favourites list. You can also share it with a friend via email, or post it on Facebook.
